"Observation is an elementary, poetic process"Friedrich Dürrenmatt
Honestly, you take pictures with your hands, eyes and mind. But the magic of a picture has its origin in the particapation of the heart. It's the same when you look at a picture, you don't just look at it with your eyes. Kind of like poetry. And just like a poem, a picture does not show the whole, unaltered truth. It takes a certain point of view or concentrates itself on a certain fact, and describes that what is seen or what is wanted to be seen, and densifies everything into a whole new creation, that does in the end have a core of truth. I'm a passionate photographer. I love it when I'm able to show the beauty, strength or intensity of a moment or person.
I grew up in Canada, near Toronto, in a little village named Hillsburgh
and have been living in Germany for the last 14 years. |
